Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced IIoT Solution Architect with strong AWS Cloud expertise to drive Smart Manufacturing for automotive clients. You will shape end-to-end IIoT and factory architectures, enabling OT-IT convergence and data-driven production analytics.

You will lead design, security, and deployment efforts, mentor teams, and collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and IT stakeholders to deliver digital transformation programs across discrete manufacturing plants.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Industrial Automation, IIoT, Manufacturing IT, or Digital Manufacturing.
• Strong experience with AWS IoT Services (IoT Core, Greengrass, SiteWise, TwinMaker, Lambda, S3, Redshift, QuickSight).
• Good understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop, Powertrain).
• Experience integrating MES, SCADA, PLCs, OPC-UA, MQTT, historians, and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Industrial IoT architecture, Edge Computing, Data Platforms, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, OT networks, and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end IIoT and Smart Factory architecture leveraging AWS services.
• Design scalable solutions for machine connectivity, real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, traceability, and production analytics.
• Integrate shop-floor systems (PLC, SCADA, MES, Historians) with enterprise platforms (ERP, PLM, Data Lakes).
• Develop OT-IT convergence strategies and Industry 4.0 roadmaps.
• Lead architecture, technology selection, security, and deployment activities.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced IIoT Solution Architect with strong expertise in AWS Cloud and Industrial IoT solutions to drive Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives for automotive clients. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes, connected factory architecture, OT-IT integration, and cloud-based industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead end-to-end IIoT and Smart Factory architecture leveraging AWS services.

Design scalable solutions for machine connectivity, real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, traceability, and production analytics.

Integrate shop-floor systems (PLC, SCADA, MES, Historians) with enterprise platforms (ERP, PLM, Data Lakes).
