Job summary

Eminent HR Services is seeking an ICU Registrar for our Critical Care/ICU department in Mumbai. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring, and support to senior consultants in emergencies and rounds.

Freshers to 3 years of ICU/critical care experience are considered based on qualifications; in-person work location is Mumbai with salary as per experience and qualification.

Qualifications

• MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
• MD/DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or equivalent preferred.
• IDCCM / CTCCM / Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with relevant ICU/critical care experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care and monitoring to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Assist Senior Consultants/Intensivists in ICU rounds, emergency management, and bedside procedures.
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and other critical care interventions.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation and code management.
• Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology, and other clinical departments.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients relatives regarding clinical status and treatment plans.

Department: Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care and monitoring to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Conduct regular patient assessments and promptly identify and manage clinical deterioration.
• Assist Senior Consultants/Intensivists in ICU rounds, emergency management, and bedside procedures.
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and other critical care interventions.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation and code management.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, laboratory, radiology, and other clinical departments.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment plans, and patient records.
• Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
• Communicate effective with patients relatives regarding clinical status and treatment plans, as directed by the consultant.
