Job summary

Medico Hub in Sivanmalai, Kangayam, Tiruppur District, Tamil Nadu is opening a new Multi-Speciality hospital and urgently hiring an ICU Intensivist to lead the critical care ward.

The role requires MD or DNB with fellowship in Critical Care or MEM; registration with NMC/State Medical Council; you will independently manage ICU patients, supervise ventilation, invasive monitoring, and coordinate with consultants to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• MD or DNB with Fellowship in Critical Care or MEM is preferred.
• If not, MD/DNB Emergency Medicine with related Critical Care training may apply.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Assess, stabilize, and treat emergency and critically ill patients.
• Manage ventilators, invasive monitoring, and hemodynamic support.
• Perform ICU procedures including intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, and emergency airway management.
• Handle sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, poisoning, trauma, and multi-organ dysfunction cases.
• Coordinate with consultants, emergency physicians, surgeons, and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate ICU documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, ICU guidelines, and patient safety standards.
