Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a seasoned Network Operations specialist based in India with responsibilities across Gurgaon, Noida and Bangalore. You will manage second-level incidents, diagnose complex network issues and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies and load balancers.

The role requires hands-on experience with WAN/LAN, DNS and security services. Candidates must be ready for a 24x7 shift pattern and show strong troubleshooting skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in LAN/WAN networks and security operations
• Background in Linux systems, networking and firewall technologies
• Knowledge of networking and WAN technologies, with hands-on experience on Cisco & Juniper routers/switches

About this opportunity:

The position is based out of Gurgaon, Noida & Bangalore. Candidate would be responsible for providing second-level support on incidents, problem resolutions and technical operations. The incumbent should be authoritative on hardcore networking technologies such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, proxies, load balancers, VPNs and must have a passion for it. What you will do:

• Investigate and resolve incidents.
• Investigate and diagnose problems. Where applicable, identify short-term work-around solutions.
• Act as network specialist and identify improvements in existing deployed solutions, provide input to RFCs etc.
• Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, Email Security solutions
• Build user documentation.
• Provide technical support.
• Redesign and reconfigure alarms for network.
• Maintain a stable environment and optimizes the network as vital.

The skills you bring:

• Candidate Must be flexible for 24x7 role.
• 8+ Years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations/Development
• Education: A primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications
• The applicant will require a background in Linux systems, Networking and Firewall technologies.

JNCIA , CCSA Qualifications Are Preferred

• Candidate should have relevant
• Knowledge of Networking and WAN technologies
• Technical experience on Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Cloud, F5
• Strong Technical Skills on IP/MPLS, Routing, WAN/LAN, Security, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Aruba Switches & WLAN
• Must have strong working experience with a wide range of Cisco & Juniper routers and switches, LAN, WAN and wireless LAN technologies, network security, DHCP/DNS and routing protocols such BGP, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.
• Candidates has experience in Airwave, Mobility master & controller, Access points, Aruba ClearPass policy manager, Scalance-X Industrial Ethernet Switches
• Should have excellent hands on troubleshooting experience, Good to understand tools like Wireshark.
• Understanding and experience while working with Cloud technologies, Devops, Terraform, cloudformation.
• Candidate should have working experience with Network and security over Azure/AWS/GCP/IBM clouds.
• The candidate will need to be prepared to be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and on call support
• Candidate Should be ready for 24x7 role.
• Communication with Business – Stakeholder Management and Customer Interaction
• Individual Contribution and hands on technical role
• Ways of working – Lean & Agile, DevOps, Automation, AI, Scripting, ISMS Frame work
