Job summary

Ericsson in India (Noida) seeks a Network Engineer to design, optimize and audit IP/MPLS networks to meet customer requirements. You will execute design, audit and optimization services and ensure time, performance and quality per Ericsson standards and contracts.

You will analyze network requirements, prepare IP documents (HLD/LLD), lead integration services across multiple vendors, troubleshoot issues, and advise on best practices for ISP networks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Arbor, Check Point, FortiGate and ZTE network/security devices.
• Experience in telecom technologies (2G, 3G, 4G & 5G).
• Knowledge of routing and VPN technologies (OSPF, ISIS, BGP MPLS, SR & L3/L2 VPN, EVPN) and QoS with Traffic Engineering.
• Sound knowledge in firewall, DDoS, DNS, DPI & load balancer.
• Strong understanding of ISP network technologies, including CDNs, IX, and network optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, discuss and define network requirements and review network solutions.
• Customer facing role and interaction with stakeholders for delivery execution.
• Prepare IP documents (HLD/LLD) as per requirement.
• Lead integration services for telecom IP networks.
• Perform MPBN network audit (security, configuration & hardware).
• Troubleshoot network problems and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze KPIs and recommend network best practices.
• Deliver technical assistance to the team.
• Optimize MBPN and ISP networks.

The skills you bring:

• Hands on experience in Configuration of Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Arbor, Checkpoint, FortiGate and ZTE Network/Security Devices.
• Hands on experience in Troubleshooting – Network related issues.
• Experience in Telecom Technologies (2G, 3G, 4G & 5G).
• Experience in Multi-Vendor Migration of Services.
• Should have sound knowledge in routing and VPN technology (OSPF, ISIS,BGP MPLS, SR & L3/L2 VPN, EVPN) and QOS along with Traffic Engineering
• Should have sound knowledge in Firewall, DDoS, DNS, DPI & load balancer.
• Strong understanding of ISP network technologies, including CDNs, IX, and network optimization techniques.

Skillset

• Planning, Design & Optimization of IP/MPLS Network.
• Excellent knowledge in Routing Protocols and MPLS Transport.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on expertise in Layer 2 networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Managed Service telecom operations practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Automation Skills.
• Professional /Expert IP Certification. (CCIE, JNCIE)
• Proficient in DNS, CDN mechanisms, and the structure of ISP networks.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft applications like excel, Power Point, Word etc.
