Job summary

TATA Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced MFT/Integrations engineer in Pune to design and implement webMethods ActiveTransfer solutions, manage MFT environments, and ensure secure data transfers. You will work with SAP/Salesforce and other enterprise systems, providing cross-functional support and weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement MFT solutions using webMethods ActiveTransfer.
• Maintain health and configurations of webMethods MFT environments with ACLs/LDAP.
• Implement SSL/PGP encryption and secure transfers (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS).
• Monitor file transfers in real-time; troubleshoot integration issues; review audit logs.
• Document system integrations and MFT configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide weekend/holiday coverage.
• Work with B2B partners to ensure seamless data flow.
• Provide clear documentation and support for audit and regulatory needs.

• Hands on experience in web Methods (Integration Server, My web Methods Server, Wm Designer, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Broker Messaging, web Methods Adapters)
• Design and develop MFT solutions using web Methods ActiveTransfer (part of the webMethods suite) to automate data transfers and integrate with various enterprise systems like SAP or Salesforce.
• Maintain the health and configurations of web Methods MFT environments, including setting up ACLs, LDAP, and managing system components.
• Implement strong encryption (SSL, PGP) and secure communication protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) to safeguard data during transit, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
• Proficiency in various file transfer protocols, RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server), Unix servers, shell scripts, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Monitor file transfers in real-time, troubleshoot integration issues, and review detailed audit logs to ensure reliable delivery and SLA compliance.
• Leverage MFT's features for automated actions, real-time triggers, and configurable auto-retry functionality to streamline workflows and minimize manual intervention.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including B2B partners and other technical teams, to gather requirements, ensure seamless data flow, and provide weekend/holiday support on a rotation basis
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system integrations and MFT configurations.
• Prior experience with web Methods platform components such as Integration Server, Designer, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, and MFT (Active Transfer).
• Proficiency in various file transfer protocols, RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server), Unix servers, shell scripts, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage and resolve complex file transfer and integration challenges.
• Good understanding of overall Integration, iPaaS, API and Events
• Work with cross-functional teams, including B2B partners and other technical teams, to gather requirements, ensure seamless data flow, and provide weekend/holiday support on a rotation basis
