Job description

IAMOPS is seeking a talented IT Engineer to take on the role of Hardware and Network Engineer. This individual will be instrumental in maintaining systems, computer hardware, networking infrastructure, and ensuring the overall security of our IT environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and networking systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, replacing defective components as necessary.
  2. Device Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, scanners, and network printers to ensure seamless functionality.
  3. Hardware and Software Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems. Administer computer networks, including hardware, systems software, and applications software. Operate master consoles to monitor system performance and network usage.
  4. Network Security: Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
  5. System Design and Testing: Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems. Recommend and implement changes to improve system and network configurations.
  6. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and company personnel to facilitate hardware and software purchases.
  7. Asset Management: Responsible for asset maintenance and documentation, ensuring accurate records of all IT assets.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (BSc(IT)/MSc(IT)/BE/BTech/BCA/MCA). Strong academic background preferred.
  2. Experience: Freshers or experienced candidates with tech-savvy attitudes and IT tech support skills are welcome.
  3. Networking Skills: Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  4. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  5. Ethics: Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
