Job summary

Brik Oven seeks a dedicated Hygiene & Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness across outlets and its central kitchen. You will follow SOPs, assist peak hours, and ensure safe sanitation practices in dining, kitchen, storages, and washrooms.

Candidates with a minimum 8th pass are welcome; freshers may apply. Uniforms and cleaning equipment are provided. Training opportunities and statutory benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8th pass or equivalent.
• Fresher candidates with willingness to learn will also be considered.
• Prior experience in housekeeping/hygiene/cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleaning practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining area, kitchen, storage, washrooms, and staff areas.
• Follow daily cleaning checklists and schedules.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste as per guidelines.
• Sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations as per food safety standards.
• Monitor and replenish hygiene consumables (hand wash, tissues, sanitizers).
• Assist during peak hours to maintain hygiene standards.
• Report maintenance or repair issues related to hygiene (leaks, pests).
• Adhere to Food Safety, FSSAI, and Hygiene SOPs.
• Participate in hygiene and safety training sessions.

Reports To: Outlet Manager

Job Purpose:

To ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained across the outlet/central kitchen, supporting a safe and pleasant environment for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas including dining area, kitchen, storage, washrooms, and staff areas.

Follow daily cleaning checklists and schedules provided by the Outlet Manager / Supervisor.

Ensure proper disposal of waste as per company and municipal guidelines.

Assist in sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations as per food safety standards.

Monitor and refill hygiene-related consumables (hand wash, tissues, sanitizers, etc.).

Support kitchen and service teams during peak hours by maintaining hygiene standards.

Report any maintenance or repair issues related to hygiene (leakages, pest issues, etc.) immediately.

Adhere strictly to company’s Food Safety, FSSAI, and Hygiene SOPs.

Participate in hygiene and safety training sessions conducted by the company.

Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleaning practices.

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
