Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Gurugram invites an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of HVAC system parts for ICE and EV platforms.

You will work on cabin and engine room layouts, vehicle-level integration, and ensure program milestones are met. The role requires 3-6 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design, thermal load calculations, CAD/Unigraphics, and the ability to propose countermeasures for quality issues across part and vehicle levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in Design or Development of HVAC system parts, either for ICE or EV or both.
• Experience in Heat load/ thermal load calculation of HVAC system
• Able to Analyze/initiate countermeasure for quality issues
• Hands on experience in 3D modeling/ 2D drawing
• Understanding of Manufacturing processes and Costing Functions.
• Hands on experience in testing at part & vehicle level

Responsibilities

• Design & Development of HVAC System parts for ICE & EVs as per program schedule.
• Lay outing of HVAC system related parts ( Cabin room and Engine Room )
• Spec understanding, testing and evaluation of HVAC system parts
• Vehicle level evaluation as per program schedule.
• Regulation Checks.
• Cost & Weight monitoring at Part & Sub-System level.
• Countermeasure planning, as necessary, based on Design/ Quality Reviews, Line Feedback & Testing.
• Coordination with business partners for development of parts.

Role

• Design & Development of HVAC System parts of ICE & EV
• Design & Development of HVAC System related interior parts.
• Vehicle level integration of parts
• Vehicle level evaluation of HVAC system
