Micron's Facilities Team is looking for an experienced HVAC Operations Technician to work in our new wafer fabrication facility in Sanand, Gujarat. This is an opportunity for a high-energy, tenacious, and ambitious individual with a strong work ethic and integrity to join the team.

As an HVAC Operations Technician, you will operate mechanical and HVAC systems including chiller plant, compressed air, heating water, cooling water, process exhaust, cleanroom HVAC, and general building HVAC. You will turn equipment on and off so maintenance can be performed and work closely with trades maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform various rounds and readings
• System and alarm monitoring
• Alarm and failure response
• Working with ERT as first responders
• Follow all safety procedures, LOTO, and NFPA 70E standards
• Understand P&ID drawings, one-line diagrams, and troubleshoot faults and alarms
• Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment
• Respond efficiently to restore equipment to service as soon as possible during system failure
• Identify and respond according to alarm conditions
• Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues
• Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stability
• Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry or related field experience and/or equivalent experience and/or military training/experience
• Able to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), and rotate from days to nights every 4 months or a 5 day work week.
