Job summary

Blue Star in Gurugram is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 7–10 years of experience to verify HVAC design, perform heat load estimation, and calculate air-side and water-side pressure drops. You will study tender specs, select equipment such as chillers, AHUs, pumps, cooling towers, heat recovery units, and apply value engineering to reduce project costs.

Preparation of final BOQ and variation statements is required. Candidate should hold B.E.

Qualifications

• Must have strong understanding of HVAC systems and heat load estimation.
• Ability to perform air-side and water-side pressure drop calculations.
• Experience in reading tender specifications and ensuring project compliance.

Responsibilities

• Thorough design verification including heat load estimation and pressure drop calculations.
• Select and specify equipment (chillers, pumps, AHU, cooling tower, HRU, fans, etc.).
• Study tender specifications and ensure project conformance; apply value engineering.
• Prepare final BOQ and variation statements.

• Must be thorough with the design verification which includes heat load estimation, pressure drop calculation for air side and water side, also preparation of water side scheme as well as electrical scheme
• Have a good knowledge of various equipments used in the projects and selection of the equipments like chiller, pumps, AHU, cooling tower, heat recovery units, fans, ductless ventilation system, etc
• Study of tender specification and ensure project is carried out as per the same.
• Apply value engineering to reducing cost of the project
• Preparation of final Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and variation statement
