Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Pune is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer III to design and analyze MEP systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC design. This includes resolving coordination conflicts, setting up ducting plans, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Competitive salary and a collaborative work culture offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• US and Middle East work experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings to assess the scope of work.
• Prepare conceptual HVAC design and develop it.
• Select HVAC equipment including AHU, chillers, and pumps.
• Setup ducting and piping floor plans.
• Resolve HVAC coordination conflicts.
• Prepare HVAC equipment schedules and BOQ.
• Setup controls diagrams and sequences of operations.
• Respond to RFIs and submittal reviews.

Skills

Trane Trace or Carrier HAP

Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards 62.1 & 90.1

Experience with Revit

Experience with Bluebeam

Experience with Elite RHVAC

Experience with CHVAC

Experience with IESVE

Knowledge of California Mechanical Code

Knowledge of International Mechanical Code

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and analyzing MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

Experience:

• Minimum experience of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree course in Mechanical Engineering

Certifications and skillsets:

• Trane Trace or Carrier HAP

Responsibilities:

• Attend client meetings to assess the scope of work as well as coordination with

other trades

• Prepare conceptual level HVAC design and then develop the HVAC design to

• Select HVAC equipment like, but not limited to, AHU, cooling and heating coils,

VRF units, VAV boxes, DX units, Chillers, Cooling towers, filters pumps, piping

• Setup ducting and piping floor plans

• Resolve HVAC coordination conflicts with other trades

• Setup air-side and water-side schematic diagrams

• Prepared HVAC equipment schedules and BOQ

• Setup controls diagrams and sequence of operations of HVAC systems

• Respond to RFIs and submittal reviews

***US and Middle East work experience will be an added advantage.

Other Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards 62.1 & 90.1
• Experience with working on Revit and Bluebeam
• Experience with software like Elite RHVAC, CHVAC and IESVE
• Knowledge of California Mechanical Code and International Mechanical Code
• Aptitude for project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
