Job summary

SBM Offshore Bengaluru is seeking an Engineer to contribute to design and engineer reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support our projects and organizational objectives. You will plan activities, deliverables and interfaces within the agreed time frame, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with contractual and SBM internal requirements.

• Ensure scope of work complies with contractual and SBM requirements.
• Apply lessons learnt and manage change within project boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties per contract.

Job description

The Engineer's purpose is to contribute to design and engineer reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support the projects and the organization's operational and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• You are responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
• You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.

Education

• Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline
