Job summary

Egis India Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior BIM Modeller to lead HVAC Revit modelling, ensure compliance with BIM execution plans (BEPs) and LOIN requirements, and support multidisciplinary coordination.

You will mentor junior BIM professionals, drive model quality, and produce detailed drawings and schedules for complex building services projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client standards.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in HVAC BIM modelling.
• Strong understanding of Revit MEP workflows and HVAC multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience producing and editing family components for BIM models.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, BEPs, LOIN, and CDE workflows.
• Ability to mentor junior BIM professionals and ensure model quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate HVAC Revit models across all project stages.
• Produce detailed BIM models for AHUs, FCUs, ducts, and piping.
• Ensure models comply with BEPs, LOIN requirements and project standards.
• Assist in clash detection, coordination reviews, and issue resolution.
• Generate general arrangement drawings, schedules, and annotations.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Architects and other disciplines.
• Maintain model health through audits and quality checks.

Job Description The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery of HVAC Building Information Modelling (BIM) services through the development, coordination, and management of high-quality Revit models across a range of building services projects. The Senior BIM Modeller will be responsible for the day-to-day production of detailed HVAC models, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards, Level of Information Need (LOIN) requirements, and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). The role also provides technical support and guidance to junior team members, ensuring modelling outputs meet project quality standards while facilitating effective multidisciplinary coordination.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate HVAC Revit models across all project stages. Produce detailed BIM models covering:

• Chilled Water Systems
• Condenser Water Systems
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Supply, Return, Extract and Fresh Air Ductwork Systems
• Smoke Extract and Pressurization Systems
• VRF and Split Air Conditioning Systems
• District Cooling Interfaces
• Plantroom and Roof-Level Equipment Layouts

Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), modelling standards, and Level of Information Need (LOIN) requirements. Assist the HVAC BIM Coordinator in preparing models for clash detection and coordination reviews. Implement coordination comments, design revisions, and clash resolution updates accurately and promptly. Maintain model health and integrity through routine audits and quality checks. Generate project documentation including:

• General Arrangement Drawings
• Shop Drawings
• Sections and Details
• Equipment Schedules
• Duct and Pipe Annotation Drawings

Coordinate closely with Mechanical Engineers, BIM Coordinators, Architects, Structural Engineers, and other MEP disciplines. Ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed project timelines and quality standards. Manage assigned project model packages with minimal supervision. Escalate modelling and coordination issues to the BIM Coordinator proactively.
