Job summary

Magnit is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to drive strategic people initiatives and partner with senior leaders across the organization. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
  • Experience supporting diverse business units or matrix organizations preferred.
  • Strong HR analytics, reporting tools, and data storytelling.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance standards, and best practices.

  • Collect and analyze HR metrics to guide business decisions and present insights.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and partner with Payroll/HRIS for accurate records.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and strategic HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate with wide experience in HR partnering roles, demonstrating excellence in stakeholder management, employee relations, end-to-end employment lifecycle operations, strategic workforce support, and HR data-driven decision-making. This role will be a critical enabler in driving people priorities, improving employee engagement, and supporting business objectives through analytical insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Partnership
    • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and senior stakeholders, providing insights and solutions on people strategies aligned to business goals.
    • Support change management processes, organizational effectiveness, and culture-building activities.
    • Provide Consultative services to the line managers on Human Resources initiatives, process, and programs.
    • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Employee Relations & Lifecycle Management
    • Manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
    • Provide guidance on grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and performance management interventions.
    • Own and streamline the entire employee lifecycle ensuring positive employee experiences at every stage.
    • Drive Engagement programs for the business unit.
    • Works with business partners to identify training needs for business units. Provides coaching opportunities, as necessary.
    • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Global Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong, consultative relationships with global business units and internal partners across Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and HR operations.
    • Actively engage with leadership teams to influence decision-making through an HR lens.
    • Serve as a point of contact for HR escalations, offering pragmatic and compliant solutions.
  • HR Analytics and Data Intelligence
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR metrics (attrition, engagement, headcount, compensation parity, etc.) to guide business decisions.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
    • Leverage data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Excel dashboards) to present actionable insights to leadership.
    • Lead regular people metrics reviews and recommend evidence-based interventions to improve key outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
    • Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency across HR operations.
    • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Compliance teams for accurate, timely employee records and reporting.

What You Will Need

  • High analytical ability with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
