Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an HSW partner to provide operational health, safety and wellbeing support within India. You will advise on risk management, ensure compliance and drive improvements across projects and regional teams.

The role requires 4-7 years in HSW with strong standards knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to partner with business units, conduct audits, investigations and training to embed HSW programs.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years’ experience in HSW roles with some business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of HSW standards and legislation.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HSW systems and reporting.

Role description

Provide operational HSW support as a business partner, facilitating risk management and compliance within the country and/or assigned business units.

Role accountabilities

• Deliver HSW advisory services to operational teams.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Support implementation of HSW programs and training.
• Facilitate communication between HSW and business teams.
• Monitor compliance and report on HSW performance.
• Conduct external and internal audits, responsible for closing out identified actions and represent Arcadis in certification processes and external forums
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives and champion innovative HSW solutions
• Support implementation of global HSW initiatives at a regional level
• Manage risk assessments, site audits, and compliance checks for projects
• Develop, tailor, and implement HSW plans and initiatives
• Conduct detailed investigations of incidents/root causes, analyse trends and recommend corrective actions
• Advise project managers and staff on regulatory and client HSW requirements
• Facilitate virtual workshops, training and awareness campaigns across the region
• Analyse HSW performance data and provide improvement recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with the HSW GSSC specialist team

Shared responsibilities

• Support collaboration between business and HSW teams.
• Support global HSW initiatives by contributing insights and assisting with implementation of strategic priorities.
• Assist leaders to integrate HSW considerations into planning and daily operations.
• Participate and deliver knowledge-sharing forums and improvement initiatives to support HSW programs and activities.
• Work with local teams to promote best practices and support consistent implementation of HSW initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• 4-7 years’ experience in HSW roles with some business partnering.
• Strong technical knowledge of HSW standards and legislation.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant HSW certifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions
• Proficiency in HSW systems, and advanced reporting.
