Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an HSSE Lead for an on-site Bengaluru role. You will provide information and support on HSE matters, review and audit site practices, and drive continuous safety improvements on highrise and industrial construction projects.

The role requires 14–15 years of HSE experience, BE/Diploma with ADIS, and strong on-site leadership to ensure compliance and safety performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Project Safety Plan on site and ensure adoption.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections and circulate reports with corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly HSE reports to the Project Lead and track statistics.
• Develop and review site emergency plans and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; implement prevention actions.
• Provide HSE training and guidance to site personnel.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on HSE.

Be an active member of site team and provide support and advice on HSE related matters.2.Actively participate on site related HSE activities and involve other site team members.3. Being a subject matter expert, focus on continuous development and growth of business.**Key Functional Areas**1.Undertake duties as directed by the City HSE Lead2. Ensure the Project Safety Plan is maintained and adopted on site.3.Undertake regular review of HSE performance in the project and work with site team to ensure that HSE standards are communicated and followed on site.4. Conduct regular HSE inspections at site and circulate the report. Recommend for improvements and provide corrective actions for implementations. Follow-up on timely closure of Inspection points.5. Compile and submit monthly HSE Report at the end of each month to the Project Lead and keep track on all HSE statistical data.6. Establish and communicate site emergency plan and procedures and to carry out review and update in regular intervals.7. Maintain & assist site team for development of project HS risk assessment. To establish the level of controls before work commences.8. Monitor that all visitors to the project have signed the site attendance / visitors register and are escorted at all times unless they have been formally inducted.9. Ensure any hazard / complain raised related to HSE is properly investigated, rectified and closed and recorded on Hazard Report Log.10.Maintain & monitor the inspection & test plan of all plant & equipment’s on site.11. Provide information, technical advice and support to construction teams on HSE related issues.12. Maintain & disseminate statistical information regarding incidents near misses and injuries to all concerned.13. Ensure that all incidents occurred on site are reported on timely manners and provide necessary support to site team on incident management.14. Participate on incident investigation with recommended action plan and timely closure to prevent reoccurrence.15. Maintain all necessary HSE documents as per process & standards.16.Provide timely & constructive feedback to project lead on competency level of HSE performance of contractor’s and vendors on site.17.Conduct and monitor site HSE training as required for all members on site.18.
