Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED is seeking a Senior HSE Manager for its Savli, Gujarat site. The role leads a safety and environmental team to develop, implement and monitor HSE programs across manufacturing operations.

You will conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver training to staff and contractors while driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in a large manufacturing organization.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate in science or engineering.
  • Advance/Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Fire or Industrial Safety.
  • Certified lead auditor for Environment and OHS and energy management systems – ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken & written).

  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses and safety audits.

Proven experience in a senior health, safety, and environmental management role, with 15+ years of experience in a large manufacturing organization.* Advance/Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational health, Fire or Industrial safety from a reputed institution.* Certified lead auditor for Environment and OHS and energy management systems – ISO 14001, ISO 45001* Relevant qualification in Environmental sustainability and climate change will be an added advantage* Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, standards, and best practices* Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities to develop and implement effective HSE programs and initiatives* Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, analyse data and develop appropriate control measures.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.* Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including factories, departments, and external partners* Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and sustainability trends.* Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
