Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services seeks an HSE Engineer based in Davangere/Bellary, Karnataka to implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environmental requirements across renewable EPC sites. You will manage day-to-day safety procedures, inspections, toolbox talks, permits, incident reporting, and subcontractor safety compliance.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, 4+ years of HSE experience in related projects, and NEBOSH/IOSH certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• 4+ years of HSE experience in renewable energy, power, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• HSE compliance: implement policies, monitor standards, inspections, corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, JSA/JHA, PTW, and LOTO monitoring.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety campaigns.
• Report and investigate incidents, support root-cause analysis and drills.
• Environmental management: waste handling, housekeeping, compliance records.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain registers, permits, MIS reports.
• Contractor management: monitor subcontractor safety, inspections and follow-ups.

Role Overview: Responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety & Environmental requirements across renewable EPC project sites. Manage daytoday safety procedures, inspections, toolbox talks, permits, incident reporting, and contractor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• HSE Compliance: Implement policies, monitor standards, conduct inspections, ensure corrective actions.
• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, JSA/JHA, PTW, LOTO monitoring.
• Training & Awareness: Toolbox talks, inductions, safety campaigns.
• Incident Management: Report/investigate accidents, support RCA, emergency drills.
• Environmental Management: Waste handling, housekeeping, compliance records.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain registers, permits, MIS reports.
• Contractor Management: Monitor subcontractor safety, inspections, followups.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• 4+ years of HSE experience in renewable energy, power, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HSE practices, PTW, LOTO, emergency response.
• Inspection, reporting, and documentation expertise.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently at project sites.

Compensation: Up to 6 LPA
