We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

1. Develop and retain a high level of understanding of business and IT systems requirements, to enable appropriate support and guidance to be given to Teams.
2. Define test strategies for global change, champion and direct change implementations to deliver faster and better. Own and standardize test strategy model to ensure different projects/programmes are running the similar approach.
3. Provide test estimates, Test Strategies, risk assessments, scripting and execution so that these are completed satisfactorily.
4. Demonstrate and apply excellent business domain knowledge – Commercial Banking and Trade Finance.
5. Ensure that testing adheres to Group and local standards. Suggest best practices across the SDLC/STLC and assist in implementing them along with standards.
6. Lead functional testing team for SIT, UAT and OAT etc.
7. Initiate and/or support continuous process improvement to achieve productivity and efficiency gains. Provide cost benefits as required.
8. Develop and maintain high quality communication and relationships, both internal and external parties. Manage the coordination of communication with virtual teams worldwide.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of Eight years’ IT software testing experience, STRONG domain/business knowledge and experience in banking/internet knowledge.
• Experience as functional test for medium to large scale projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
• Working with Automation tools (Quick Test Professional, Selenium, SeeTest, Java) and Performance testing tools is desirable.
• Experience in software development for more than 3 years is an advantage.
• Experience in Agile project delivery is an advantage.
• ISTQB qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Past working experience as a Test Lead is desirable but not essential.
• Familiar with JIRA/Confluence.
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
