We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

1. Design, develop and implement DataStage interfaces using IBM DataStage 11.7.
2. Establish strong client relationships with operations, accounting, risk and other business partners in order to better ascertain, analyse and gather their needs.
3. Suggest configuration changes to the system in order to meet business requirements.
4. Document and translate requirements into functional design if required.
5. Liaise with business users to ensure proper understanding of requirements and ensuring quality deliverables.
6. Have good experience of test planning and strategy and can prepare test plans.
7. Prepare & execute test cases/scripts to support project testing lifecycle.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

1. Experience in IBM DataStage.
2. Development in SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle database.
3. Basic Unix shell scripting, Control-M, PL-SQL, RTC, JIRA etc.
4. Understanding of Project Lifecycle.
5. Understanding of Process flow analysis.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to merge multiple existing workflows into one, standard flow.
7. Proven experience in delivering quality specifications that are well understood by both the business and development/implementation team.
8. Proven experience in an IT Development environment.
