Cummins India Limited in Pune is seeking an HR – Time & Attendance Analyst to join our HR team. This full-time role ensures accurate timekeeping, attendance processing, and payroll-related activities while ensuring compliance with labour laws.

You will support time and attendance systems, generate reports, and provide data for compensation processes, maintaining data confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in HR, payroll administration, or time and attendance management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of payroll administration and compensation processes.
• Knowledge of time and attendance systems and software.
• Familiarity with labour laws and compliance requirements in India.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the time and attendance system to ensure accurate timekeeping records.
• Process, review, and balance time and attendance records submitted by employees and departments.
• Ensure adherence to time-reporting rules, requirements, and internal procedures.
• Support compensation and payroll-related processes by providing accurate attendance data.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies in attendance records and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
• Generate attendance reports and analytics to support HR and management decision-making.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of sensitive employee records.

Role Overview

We are seeking an HR – Time & Attendance Analyst to join our HR team in Pune. This full-time role is critical to ensuring accurate timekeeping, attendance processing, and payroll-related activities while maintaining compliance with labour legislation. You will be responsible for supporting the seamless operation of time and attendance systems and ensuring all compensation processes are executed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the time and attendance system to ensure accurate timekeeping records across the organization
• Process, review, and balance time and attendance records submitted by employees and departments
• Ensure adherence to time-reporting rules, requirements, and internal procedures
• Support compensation and payroll-related processes by providing accurate attendance data
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines

Must-Have Skills
