Job summary

Hitachi Energy Bengaluru HR Shared Services is seeking an HR professional to join the Employee Life Cycle Management (ELCM) team. You will ensure accurate processing of employee data from hire to retire, maintain data integrity, support onboarding and payroll data in Workday, and handle visa/BGV processes.

The role requires attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration. Night shifts are required to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate/MBA with 1–3 years in HR Shared Services in a global organization preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.
• Experience with global HR processes and service delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee data across Hire to Retire in Hi-Next and ensure data integrity.
• Provide high-quality HR service support to internal stakeholders and maintain SLA adherence.
• Support onboarding, data management, absence handling, visa renewals, transfers and offboarding.
• Monitor payroll-related data in Workday and ensure supporting documentation is in place.
• Validate sensitive data (salary, bank details) and ensure SOPs and WIs are followed.
• Assist in offer letter preparation for shortlisted candidates and track background verification status.
• Capture ELC activities in systems and respond to employee queries; ensure complete lifecycle delivery.
• Generate internal data quality reports and contribute to process improvements.

Role & responsibilities

As a core member of the Employee Life Cycle Management (ELCM) team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive HR service support to the HR community, business managers, and employees. Reporting directly to the Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee-related information across various stages of the employee life cycle. Your primary focus will be to provide high-quality support to internal stakeholders by maintaining data integrity, adhering to service level agreements, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This role demands strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• This position is responsible for managing employee data accurately from Hire to Retire complete process in Hi-Next as the data will flow to all downstream applications.
• Ability to work across geographies and different regulatory environments.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex problems and their resulting dependencies.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Support in preparing offer letters for shortlisted candidates
• Preparing offer letter for shortlisted candidates and keeping track of BGV status
• Support key Employee Life Cycle processes such as onboarding of new professionals, professionals' data management, absence management, visa renewals. transfers, offboarding of professionals.
• Monitoring payroll related data in Workday, including salary and regular payments, and assuring supporting documentation are in place.
• Oversee time-sensitive procedures and assure that data, such as salary, one-time payments, bank information, etc., is validated as correct and genuine.
• Adhere to the SOP and WIs defined for each process and follow the instructions as mentioned
• Ability to identify process deficiencies and perform initial root cause analysis in support of improvements.
• Ensure to achieve SLA targets and agreed KPIs, identification of root causes of operational issues and imple-mentation of improvement measures.
• Capturing ELC related activities into appropriate systems and record the employee queries in an appropriate IT system (ticketing tool) and process ownership of complete employee life cycle from Hire to Retire/ Termination
• Ensuring execution and delivery of ELC services according to defined Service Level Agreement(s) like TAT, quality and Customer satisfaction (C-SAT), etc
• Extracting reports for internal data quality through Ad-hoc query, or from customized Transactions and willingness to learn and implement the learning in an innovative manner.

Your background

• Graduate/ MBA
• At least 1-3 years of experience in HR Shared Services in a global organization will be added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication
• Skills ability to manage multiple demands on time and work with cross functional teams

Preferred candidate profile

1. 2-3 years of experience in Offer generation , Background verification and end to end onboarding proocess - Hire to Retire.
2. Experience in Workday/ServiceNOW added Advantage.
