Position: Manager – Human Resources & General Affairs (Manufacturing / Factory HR)

🏭 About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic and dynamic HR professional to lead Human Resources & General Affairs (GA) for our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an experienced Factory HR / Plant HR Manager who thrives in fast‑paced industrial environments and can balance people management, statutory compliance, and operational excellence.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing multi‑plant HR operations, driving employee engagement, managing industrial relations (IR), and ensuring a compliant, productive, and safety‑driven work culture.

  • Lead end‑to‑end Factory HR operations for both blue‑collar and white‑collar employees.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention across all manufacturing units.
  • Drive performance management, training & development, and employee engagement programs.
  • Ensure accurate payroll, C&B management, and full statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
  • Implement best practices in workforce planning, HRIS management, and HR process optimization.
  • Oversee general administration, facility management, transportation, canteen, and security across sites.
  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards across all factory locations.
  • Manage vendor contracts, asset maintenance, and ensure smooth plant‑level operations.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks across business units.

🔹 Industrial Relations (IR) & Legal Compliance

  • Handle industrial relations, grievance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Liaise with government authorities for labor law compliance, inspections, and statutory renewals.
  • Ensure adherence to Factories Act, Labour Laws, and Environmental Regulations.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with unions, workers’ representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business Administration / Management.
  • HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience in manufacturing / factory / industrial environments.
  • Strong command of labour laws, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multi‑plant operations and large, diverse workforces.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HR systems.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Navi Mumbai.
  • Lead the entire HR & General Affairs function for a growing packaging manufacturing network.
  • Drive strategic HR initiatives, organizational culture, and employee development.
  • Work closely with plant heads and leadership teams to align HR with business growth.
  • Be part of a dynamic, people‑first, safety‑driven workplace that values innovation and collaboration.
