Human Resource Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and people-oriented Human Resources (HR) Specialist/Generalist to join our HR team. As an HR Specialist/Generalist, you will be responsible for various aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee onboarding, HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, supporting employee needs, and ensuring the organization's HR processes align with its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract top talent to the organization.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and training. Conduct exit interviews and handle offboarding procedures when employees leave the organization.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in compliance with labor laws and company guidelines. Educate employees on HR policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances promptly and professionally. Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans. Support managers in addressing performance-related issues and providing coaching and feedback to employees.
  • Employee Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and employee perks. Coordinate compensation-related activities, including salary reviews and bonus programs.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Collaborate with managers to design and deliver training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management decision-making. Maintain HR data and generate reports on employee demographics, turnover, and other HR-related analytics.

Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certifications are advantageous. Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in HR roles, such as HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficient in using HRIS and other HR software applications. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Empathy and a customer-oriented approach to HR service delivery.
