What Role You Will Play In Our Team

The HPC Systems Engineer will work within a team to deliver a performant, reliable, and secure high-performance computing (HPC) environment. The engineer will design and engineer the HPC system and manage day‑to‑day operations, including troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, and evaluating new hardware or software.

What You Will Do

• Establish strategies for overall support of the system
• Evaluate new hardware and software to understand potential benefits and impacts in the environment
• Perform hardware maintenance
• Perform software installations and upgrades, including operating system updates
• Monitor overall system performance and health
• Provide support for the management of data in the environment
• Work with users to resolve problems and ensure effective utilization of the system
• Interact with business customers and technical teams globally across time zones
• Engage with vendors for problem resolution and discussion of roadmap and new technologies
• Foster a supportive work environment and maintain open, productive interactions among teams and across organizations
• Build and maintain cross‑organizational contacts to facilitate execution of work
