Job Description

We seek a highly experienced Technical Performance Architect with recognized expertise in relevant subject matter, including technologies, theories, and techniques. The role involves working closely with our QA team to define test strategies, planning, development, and execution. You will collaborate with IT Domains teams to ensure that non-functional requirements (NFRs) are effectively defined and that tests are executed as planned. The role requires developing innovative principles and ideas and operating within complex disciplines essential for the company's success.

The candidate will provide innovative solutions, lead large cross-division teams or projects affecting long-term organizational goals, and participate in multi-function teams. Mentoring and guiding lower-level employees is expected. You will exercise independent judgment to develop methods and techniques to achieve objectives, develop strategy, and set functional policies. You will act as a functional manager within your area of expertise, without managing other employees directly (TCP review board required in TCP families).

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect B2C eCommerce platforms
• Handle object-oriented analysis and design, Java/J2EE design patterns
• Provide architectural support for web stores
• Understand and participate in Agile methodologies
• Collaborate with teams such as Order Management, IT Application, Infrastructure, and Finance to ensure platform performance and scalability during peak sales periods
• Transform complex business requirements into system architectures that meet security, high availability, and performance standards
• Advise teams to improve performance, productivity, and quality of B2C eCommerce Stores
• Contribute to the development of Digital Commerce practices by creating reusable assets and leading project estimations
• Apply HP and third-party technologies, leading the design of complex infrastructure and software solutions, and driving innovation

Education and Experience Required:

A technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 12 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 10 years of experience in eCommerce.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Keen analytical ability, especially in understanding human behavior
• Deep knowledge of interaction design, usability, user research, data analysis, and SEO
• Experience in Responsive and Adaptive web development techniques
• Over 10 years working with major eCommerce technologies, especially Adobe Magento & HCL WebSphere
• Experience as an Architecture or Technical Team Lead on major eCommerce projects
• Delivered at least one eCommerce solution to deployment, preferably in an agile environment
• Solid understanding of B2C domains
