Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other spaces; dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish surfaces.
• Change bed linens, make beds neatly, and replenish towels and amenities per brand standards or facility requirements.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms thoroughly; ensure fixtures are sparkling and supplies are stocked.
• Empty trash and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Inspect and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries politely to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies; use and store cleaning chemicals properly.
• Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities; report shortages to management.
• Assist with deep cleaning, special events, or other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Process lost and found items according to established procedures.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other designated spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
• Change bed linens, make beds neatly, and replenish towels and other amenities according to brand standards or facility requirements.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors, ensuring all fixtures are sparkling and supplies are restocked.
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Inspect and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed in rooms or public areas to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries politely and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies, including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, reporting shortages to management.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects, special events, or other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
