Job summary

Park Hyatt Washington is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and support the smooth operation of the housekeeping team. You will perform cleaning, make-up rooms, restock supplies and ensure brand standards are consistently met.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative approach with other departments to enhance guest experiences. This is an on-site position at Park Hyatt Washington, DC, serving luxury guests with a focus on exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
• Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments.
• Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.
• Checks and verifies room status report.
• Records and completes the Attendant’s Verification Report accurately.
• Checks and replenishes Executive Bar. Raises bills for consumed Executive Bar items.
• Reports room defects.
• Reports lost and damaged items.
• Cleans and make-up guest rooms.
• Empties soiled linen.
• Cleans and tidies pantry and toilet.
• Maintains the cleanliness of corridors and surrounding back areas.
• Cleans and packs the trolley.
• Checks, cleans and maintains operating equipment including department golf carts.
• Changes light bulbs in room.
• Refreshes flowers set in guestroom.
• Provides night turndown service.
• Updates room status via telephone interface system.
