Description: Seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst is responsible for developing solutions that support business ideas and product concepts through gathering and translating testable requirements into solutions.

They must be a critical thinker capable of contributing independently and collaborating to drive sound solutions with a diverse team including product managers, developers, testers, program managers and teams across the organization.

They will serve as a liaison between the customer/business community and the development team, working with them to obtain requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, road maps, workflow analysis and use cases.

They will need to leverage excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to mentor, coach, lead as well as direct the work of others.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain standard processes, templates, workflows and procedures.
2. Conduct interviews and requirements workshops with a cross-discipline team to elicit understanding of business needs.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to help design and drive the functional definition of a solution that meets the program level objectives and vision.
4. Work with Project Management to write business cases and acceptance criteria.
5. Assist team to troubleshoot issues; evaluate existing application products which could address client requirements and develop recommendations where appropriate.
6. Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze, decompose and map current state processes and pain points, then determine improvement opportunities including creation of target operating models.
7. Take ownership to lead solutions from concept to implementation by partnering with Technology and Business to ensure requirements are satisfied and delivered on time.
8. Build and develop business relationships vital to the success of the project.
9. Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree, Computer Science, Information Technology, Science.
2. 5 years of experience in Business Analysis.
3. Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt preferred.
4. Hands-on experience in an Agile development environment, ideally Scrum.
5. Proven experience in eliciting requirements, creating user stories, test cases, and wireframes.
6. Experience in facilitating the elicitation and evaluation of business requirements for delivering new or enhanced software systems, and measuring the success of the associated initiatives.
7. Ability to independently and quickly ramp up on new business and technical concepts.
8. Experienced in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions using data visualization techniques and tools.
9. Advanced knowledge in generating process documentation.
10. Excellent verbal, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; is a team player.
11. Very strong written skills showing the ability to convey details accurately in a well-structured and precise manner that describe end user problems and solutions.
12. Solid experience in and understanding of Scrum Agile development or Scaled Agile Framework, Waterfall, and SDLC processes.
13. JIRA knowledge.
14. Proven problem-solving skills, is logical and analytical.
15. Experience in working with distributed, offshore teams.
16. Experience in managing and mentoring team.
17. Preferred CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
18. Preferred previous experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) and specifically Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
19. Proficient in Visio, MS Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications to build process flows and presentations.
