Job summary

Apollo Knowledge Ventures Limited is seeking a skilled healthcare professional to support inpatient care with continuous patient monitoring, vital signs tracking, and bedside support. The role involves operating life-support equipment, administering medications, and providing emergency interventions as needed.

You will also assist with wound care, patient positioning to prevent complications, and educate families on daily care and recognizing warning signs, while coordinating with the care team

Responsibilities

• Track vital signs like heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation continuously using portable bedside monitors.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot life-support systems, including mechanical ventilators, BiPAP machines, oxygen concentrators, and infusion pumps.
• Deliver complex drugs safely, including intravenous drips, sedatives, and emergency medications, while calculating precise dosages.
• Recognize sudden life-threatening changes and initiate rapid interventions, such as CPR or emergency stabilization, before transport.
• Perform sterile dressing changes, manage feeding tubes or catheters, and prevent complications like bedsores through regular repositioning.
• Teach family members how to assist with daily care, recognize red flags, and cope with the emotional stress of a severe illness.
