Job summary

Hitachi Vantara in Mumbai is seeking a senior storage engineer to design, implement and manage Hitachi SAN storage solutions across block, file and object storage. You will develop LLDS and translate designs into actionable plans while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

The role requires extensive experience with Hitachi SAN architectures, hands-on expertise of 10+ years, and an engineering degree or equivalent. Join a global team delivering data-driven infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Robust experience in Hitachi SAN block architecture with design expertise.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands on experience in Hitachi/San Storage.
• Engineering or equivalent degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate Hitachi Vantara infrastructure solutions for block, file and object storage platforms.
• Develop Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and convert them into actionable implementation plans.
• Implement and manage Hitachi products like UCP CI, HCI, HCP, and VSP series.
• Architect and deploy 2DC and 3DC storage solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Perform block-based data migrations using tools like UVM, NDM and other methodologies.
• Execute seamless file data migrations across storage environments.
• Design and implement director-class fabric infrastructure networks (e.g., Cisco, Broadcom/Brocade).
• Manage storage operations for block, file and object storage
• Implement and manage Hitachi replication technologies, snapshots and clones.
• Troubleshoot and optimize storage performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Willingness to work in 24x7 & night shifts as required.
