Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in vendor development, procurement or supplier management.
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation, sourcing, negotiation and supplier development.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with MS Excel; knowledge of CNC, fabrication, sheet metal or die casting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost and overall performance.
• Resolve supplier-related quality and delivery issues with internal teams.

We are looking for a Vendor Development Manager to develop, manage and strengthen the company’s vendor network for manufacturing requirements. The candidate will work closely with procurement, production, engineering, quality, stores and suppliers to ensure the availability of quality materials and components at competitive costs and within required timelines.
