Job summary

AGS Health in Chennai is seeking Medical Coders to review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Senior coders will handle E&M coding for in-patient and out-patient services, ensuring compliance with billing requirements.

CPC/CCS certification is mandatory, with attention to detail and deadlines a must. Responsibilities include maintaining coding guidelines, collaborating with providers for documentation clarity, and participating in audits to drive

Qualifications

• Mandatory CPC/CCS certification required.
• Proven experience in E&M coding for in-patient and out-patient services.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing and compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for provider interactions.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
