Job Summary:

We are looking for a senior iOS app developer to lead the development and maintenance of iOS apps. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post-launch support.

Job Details:

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Lead iOS developer. Depending on the skill set, can lead one project and play a supporting role across others.
2. Work closely with other mobile app developers.
3. Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and release finished products.
4. Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions.
5. Work alongside web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
6. Collaborate with front-end developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features.
7. Standardize the platform and, in some cases, apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.
8. Optimize performance for the apps.
9. Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies.
10. Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
11. Strong OO design and programming skills in both Objective-C and Swift.
12. Familiarity with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.).
13. Knowledge of SQLite and Core Data.
14. Experience writing complex SQL queries.
15. Knowledge of Push Notification and In-app purchase.
16. Experience with web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
17. Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns.
18. Experience building native apps.
19. Experience using social media APIs.
20. Ads integration using a 3rd party ad server.
21. Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
22. Knowledge about other technologies such as PhoneGap / IONIC would be preferred.
23. Knowledge of creating Frameworks and static libraries would be preferred.
