Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines and data platforms. The role emphasizes strong GCP expertise and hands-on work with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer.

You will apply Python and PySpark, SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modeling techniques to build robust data solutions, integrating AI features with APIs and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering and developing data solutions.

Responsibilities

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering and developing data solutions.
• Strong hands- on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Pyspark.
• Good knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Experience developing scalable and reliable data pipelines.
• Hands- on experience with Vertex AI, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of Agentic AI, AI agents, tool/function calling, and autonomous workflows.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph is preferred.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, monitoring, and deployment practices.
• Experience with Gemini models and Vertex AI Agent Development Kit (ADK) is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
