Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently looking for a Senior Engineer – Control & Instrumentation with design & engineering experience (3-8 years) in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / M&M industries.

The position is open primarily for the Wood Kolkata office.

The candidate will be able to work with the following activities but not be limited to:

• P&ID Review & Tagging
• Instrument Index (preferably in SPI / AVEVA)
• I / O List
• Data Sheet for various Instruments including sizing calculations.
• Instrument Loop Typicals
• Material Requisition
• Technical Bid Evaluation
• Vendor Drawing/Document Review
• Mechanical Package Review
• Cause & Effect Diagram
• Alarm & Trip Schedule
• Knowledge of DCS, PLC and F&G Systems (Preferred)

Skills / Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech (Electronics & Instrumentation / Telecommunication)
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in SPI / AVEVA
• Handling of SPR / Navisworks (Preferred)
