Job summary

Info Edge is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central technical consultant/developer in India to design, develop and customize BC solutions for core finance processes. You will lead module development, workflows, and analytics across BC, SQL Server, and Power BI, while handling integrations with ERP/CRM systems and data migrations.

You will also provide technical support, gather requirements with business users, perform testing and UAT, and document configurations.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience as a technical consultant or developer in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 BC, SQL Server, PowerShell and related tools to manage data and integrations.
• Proven experience with AL, C/AL, and other BC development languages.
• Experience with extensions, API integration, and web services in BC.
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques, including RapidStart.
• Familiarity with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Understanding of ERP business processes, especially core finance.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel for large data volumes.
• Nice to have knowledge of Dynamics NAV.

Responsibilities

Deliverables

1. System Development & Customization: Design, develop, and customize solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet the unique needs of the business for core finance processes. Lead development of new/existing modules, workflows and analytics requirements in D365 BC, SQL Server, Analytics, Reporting and Integrations using Power automate, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, etc.


2. Integration & Data Migration: Work on integrations between Dynamics 365 Business Central and other enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and external data sources. Perform data migration tasks as needed.


3. Technical Support: Provide technical troubleshooting and support for existing implementations, ensuring systems are running efficiently and issues are resolved in a timely manner.


4. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts, end-users, and functional consultants to gather and document business requirements.


5. Testing & Documentation: Conduct unit testing, assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure thorough documentation of all developments, integrations, and configurations.


6. System Upgrades & Maintenance: Implement and manage system updates, upgrades, and patches while minimizing business disruptions.


7. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of existing Dynamics 365 Business Central setups, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently.


8. Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new features and functionalities.

Required Skills

2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SQL Server, PowerShell, and other technical tools to manage data and integrations.
