Job summary

ERBrains is seeking a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our Bengaluru team. You will participate in BC implementations and support engagements, gather requirements, configure solutions, and assist in testing, training, and go-live activities.

You should have hands-on experience across BC modules, strong business analysis capabilities, and the ability to document FRDs and process flows. Manufacturing and supply chain exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and support across multiple functional areas.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and create FRDs and process flows.
• Experience with go-live activities, testing, training, and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in BC implementation and support projects across all phases: requirements, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct workshops with business users to map processes and requirements.
• Analyze requirements and prepare FRDs, process flows, and solution documentation.
• Configure BC modules per project needs and assist in data migration and integrations.
• Support UAT, issue resolution, and end-user training; assist in master data setup and reconciliation.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.

We are seeking a Functional Consultant for our Dynamics 365 Business Central practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Business

Central implementations and support engagements across multiple functional areas. The consultant will work closely with clients and project teams to analyze business requirements, configure solutions, support testing and training activities, and contribute to successful project delivery. Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes will be an added advantage.

• Participate in Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and support projects across all phases, including Requirements Gathering, Configuration, Testing, Training, Go-Live, and Post-Go-Live Support.
• Conduct workshops and discussions with business users to understand business processes and requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, and solution documentation.
• Configure and support various Business Central modules based on project requirements.
• Assist clients in adopting Business Central best practices and process improvements.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on customizations, reports, integrations, and data migration requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and end-user training activities.
• Assist in master data setup, migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective business solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Stay updated with new Business Central features, releases, and industry best practices.

Required Skill set:

ERP Expertise

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV.

Functional Expertise

• Experience working across multiple Business Central modules.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and cross-functional dependencies.

Business Analysis

• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Strong process mapping and solution design skills.

Documentation

• Experience preparing FRDs, test scripts, solution documents, and user guides.

Tools

• Knowledge of RapidStart, Configuration Packages, Data Migration, and standard implementation tools.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
