Job summary

Adecco India is hiring a Field Service Technician (Battery) for Halol location. The role involves testing lithium-ion battery packs, repairing HV/LV packs, and supporting on-site installation, repair, and testing tasks at customer sites.

You will handle data collection, tool maintenance, and collaboration with customers to resolve technical issues. Ideal candidates have 1–4 years of automotive service and electrical diagnosis experience, with fluency in English and Hindi and good presentation

Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in Automotive Service & Electrical diagnosis.
• Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Diagnosis and basic electricals.
• Good presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Testing of lithium-ion battery packs.
• Repairing high/low voltage battery packs and components; perform measurements.
• Travel to customer sites and collect data within jurisdiction.
• Maintain tool kits, laptops, connectors, and proprietary equipment.
• On-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing tasks.
• Coordinate with customers and document daily activities.

Role & responsibilities

Testing of lithium-ion battery packs

• - Handling high-voltage lithium-ion battery system repair and maintenance
• - Repairing high-voltage and low-voltage lithium-ion battery packs, replacing components, and performing measurements
• - Supporting day-to-day engineering tasks and tying workflow to schedule
• - Manufacturing wire harnesses and test rigs to support battery pack manufacturing and testing
• - Supporting office-related tasks
• - Traveling to customer sites within allotted jurisdictions to collect data
• - Troubleshooting technical issues; operating company laptops and testing tools to evaluate technical issues and implement required repair tasks
• - Maintaining tool kits, laptops, connectors, and other proprietary equipment
• - Communicating with customers about technical issues
• - Maintaining daily activity logs, tracking maintenance, and part tracking sheet
• - Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks

Preferred candidate profile

1-4 years' experience in Automotive Service & Electrical diagnosis

• - Good fluency in English & Hindi (spoken & written)
• - Good presentation skills
• - Knowledge of Diagnosis & Basic electricals
