Lokmat Media is seeking a seasoned Hindi content creator to own end-to-end dharma-utility content for Lokmat Bhakti channels. You will research, script, and appear on camera, delivering accurate rituals and festival timings with credible explanations.

The role requires a native Hindi speaker with strong Devanagari writing, English for briefs, and a portfolio of published work. On-site shoots and travel are involved.

Qualifications

• 24 years producing content in Hindi with a video component.
• Native-level spoken and written Hindi; English for briefs and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Hindu rituals, festival calendar, and panchang basics.
• Comfortable and credible on camera; explains rather than lectures.
• Strong source-checking discipline and documented portfolio.

Purpose of the role

Owns Hindi-language content for the Lokmat Bhakti channels end to end research, scripting, and appearing on camera. This is not a devotional-montage role. The channel's thesis is dharma-utility: content that tells a viewer what to do, on which day, in what order, and why. That requires someone who can get the facts right and say them to a camera.

Key responsibilities

• Research, script and present Hindi content rituals and their correct vidhi, vrat and festival timings, muhurat windows, and the history and meaning behind the practices viewers are asking about.
• Appear on camera as one of the channel's two anchors, and record voice-over for faceless formats.
• Work to a weekly batch cadence: topics locked Monday, scripts written Tuesday, batch shoot Wednesday, edits reviewed Friday.
• Write Instagram captions in Devanagari, structured for search the caption is a second, searchable copy of the content.
• Travel for on-ground shoots at temples, festivals and pilgrimage sites as the schedule requires.

What we need

• 24 years producing content in Hindi digital video, television, radio or print with a video component.
• Native-level spoken and written Hindi, including confident Devanagari writing. Working English for briefs and coordination.
• Genuine working knowledge of Hindu ritual practice, the festival calendar, and panchang basics tithi, muhurat, paksha. This cannot be learned on the job at the pace this project moves.
• Comfortable and credible on camera. Explains rather than lectures.
• Demonstrable accuracy discipline: a habit of checking sources rather than repeating what circulates.
• A portfolio of published work. Reels, YouTube, broadcast packages anything where we can see the writing and the delivery.

Good to have

• Formal study of Sanskrit, Jyotish, Shastra Pooja Vidhi/rituals or a related discipline.
• Prior coverage of large-scale festivals or religious events.
• An existing following on Instagram or YouTube in the dharma or astrology space.
• Basic edit ability for rough cuts.
