Job summary

Lion Engineering Consultants in Patna seeks Civil Engineers with 5–8 years of experience in road/highway projects to prepare and review DPRs, geometry and plan/profile drawings. You will coordinate with survey, pavement, traffic and drainage teams while ensuring compliance with IRC/MORIH standards.

Responsibilities include BOQ preparation, cost estimation and DPR deliverables, under the guidance of project leadership. Prior highway project exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of overall experience in Road/Highway projects.
• Experience in DPR / Detailed Engineering / Highway Design preferred.
• Candidates with National Highway / State Highway / major road projects experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Highway DPR and design documents.
• Perform highway geometric design including horizontal and vertical alignment.
• Prepare plan, profile and cross-section drawings.
• Design carriageways, intersections, junctions, service roads and other highway components.
• Review road cross-sections, typical sections and alignment proposals.
• Coordinate with survey, pavement, traffic, drainage, structures and other design teams.
• Prepare BOQ, quantity estimates and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical reports, design notes and other DPR-related documents.
• Ensure designs comply with IRC, MoRTH and relevant highway standards/specifications.
• Review design calculations, drawings and submissions.
• Assist in resolving design issues and providing technical solutions.
• Coordinate with clients/authorities and incorporate comments into submissions.
• Support the Project Manager/Team Leader in timely completion of DPR deliverables.
