This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

Job Description:
Job Family Definition:
Develops, implements and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (pricing, orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment. Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.

As a Power BI developer you will work to build and maintain Power BI datasets and reports used in the finance function. You will work closely with the different finance groups as well as IT to proactively manage the data in this environment and improve the offering to the stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Development of Power BI datasets, dataflows, dashboards and reports.
• Work with users and IT to understand requirements, propose solution and take through to implementation.
• Maintenance of existing Power BI environment.
• Testing activities on new enhancements and development in the backend systems.
• Support of end users and support team with data quality checks, issue tracking and resolution.
• Develop and deliver end user training.
• Coordinate issue resolution with IT.

Technical Skill Set Required:

• Experienced in development of large and complex Power BI datasets and reports.
• Expertise in DAX queries, MDX, Power Query, Power Automate.
• Knowledge of advanced SQL queries and database data warehouse concepts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI environment – SSAS, SQL server.
• Knowledge of Hive, Vertica would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Qliksense, Business Objects and similar reporting tools would be a plus.

Required Qualification and Soft Skills:

• Degree in IT or any other related discipline.
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently with virtual teams.
