Job summary

ALESAYI HOLDING | العيسائي القابضة is seeking a hedge fund analytics professional to analyse and monitor managers across strategies from our India-based team. You will perform due diligence, assess risk, and track exposures, using AI Lab tools to enhance insights and contribute to the knowledge base.

The role requires 3–5 years in hedge fund analysis or related fields, with strong modelling, Excel, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in financial modelling, attribution, and risk analysis.
• Strong Excel, Bloomberg/Capital IQ skills; willingness to adopt AI Lab tools.
• Excellent written communication; ability to produce IC-quality memoranda.
• Self-starter in a distributed team environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse 10–15 hedge fund managers: performance attribution, strategy drift monitoring, liquidity term analysis, and risk/return profile assessment.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on prospective hedge fund managers: investment process analysis, operational due diligence, team stability, fee negotiation.
• Track hedge fund portfolio exposures: net/gross exposure, sector tilts, geographic allocation, leverage levels, and drawdown analysis.
• Use AI Lab anomaly detection outputs to identify potential style drift, strategy changes, or risk regime shifts in existing hedge fund managers.
• Negotiate hedge fund terms: management fees, performance fees, hurdle rates, lock‑up periods, redemption terms, side letter provisions, and MFN clauses.
• Monitor hedge fund operational risk: administrator NAV verification, counterparty exposure, regulatory filings, key person changes.
• Maintain the hedge fund knowledge base: quarterly letters, DDQs, operational DD reports, and term sheets ingested into the Document Intelligence Engine.

Purpose of the role

Analyse, monitor, and conduct due diligence on hedge fund managers across strategies (equity long/short, global macro, event-driven, relative value, CTA/managed futures) in Layer 3 of the global portfolio. Work directly with the AI Lab’s tools to amplify analytical capacity and contribute to the institutional knowledge base.

• CAIA or CFA Level II+. 3–5 years of experience in hedge fund analysis, fund of funds, or alternative investment due diligence.
• Strong analytical skills: financial modelling, performance attribution, risk analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg/Capital IQ, and willingness to adopt AI Lab tools (dashboards, chat interface, screening algorithms).
• Excellent written communication: ability to produce IC-quality memoranda with clear recommendations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or quantitative discipline.
• Self‑starter comfortable working independently in a distributed team environment.
