Roots Group in Coimbatore South, India, is seeking a senior leader in Quality Management with 25+ years of automotive experience to drive the quality strategy across the site, align processes with customer expectations, and ensure robust QMS deployment.

The candidate will oversee quality planning, control, assurance, and engineering, manage customer interfaces for proactive CSR and issue resolution, lead audits (IATF16949, VDA 6.3, PPAP), monitor COPQ and KPI dashboards, and champion continuous

Qualifications

• BE or BTech degree required.
• 25+ years in automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supply chain.
• Experience interfacing with automotive OEMs.
• Strong quality management domains: planning, control, assurance.
• Experience with customer quality and supplier quality management.
• Proficient in ISO 9001:2015 Internal/Lead Auditing and IATF 16949 Internal/Lead Auditing.
• Knowledge of A-CSR and automotive audits (product, process, system, LPA, VDA 6.3, PPAP).
• Data analytics and NVH analytics exposure.
• Ability to drive Improvement Projects (QCC, SGA, Kaizen).
• Knowledge of CSR compliance and quality culture deployment.

Responsabilités

• Drive Quality Management strategy deployment across the site.
• Be responsible for quality management deliverables: planning, control, assurance, engineering, customer quality and STA.
• Maintain effective customer interface including proactive CSR and handling complaints.
• Monitor automotive audit approach: product, process, system, LPA, VDA 6.3 and PPAP audits.
• Manage quality metrics including COPQ and KPI dashboards.
• Promote quality culture through improvement projects (QCC, SGA, Kaizen).
• Support third-party/customer/certifying body audits.
• Monitor KPIs of functional resources and training needs (TNI).
