Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, technology or related field.
• 17+ years of relevant Product Owner experience with 7+ years of people management experience.
• 10+ years in financial services/program management.
• Experience in wealth management with FAs/advisors preferred.
• Cross-regional partnering with internal groups.

Responsibilities

The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.

Position Summary

As an Executive Director in wealth management platforms, the candidate plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execution of strategic initiatives that enhance platform capabilities and client experiences. They will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions tailored to meet the High‑Net‑Worth clients and drive business growth. The Wealth Management Platforms Head of FE&P PO team will serve as an escalation point to both the team and US‑based Platforms partners, manage changing priorities, fluidity, knowledge transfer and be responsible for creating a culture of excellence and growth. With a span of control of 25+ FTEs, the role encompasses Strategy & Planning, Execution & Coordination, Stakeholder communication, Sign‑offs & Risk Management. The role reports into Head of WM Platforms, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for advisor‑led platforms that cater to the unique needs of Affluent & UHNW clients. Ensure the product roadmap aligns with the firm’s goals and enhances the advisor‑client relationship.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of product owners focused on developing and enhancing platforms for FAs and advisors. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the product team and key stakeholders, including advisors, wealth management teams, and senior management. Ensure that stakeholder insights and feedback are integrated into the product development process.
• Product Development Oversight: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that platforms are developed and delivered to meet the high standards expected by UHNW clients. Focus on delivering features that enhance advisor efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Prioritization and Backlog Management: Guide the team in prioritizing features that provide the most value to advisors and their clients. Manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of impactful features.
• Market Analysis and Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client expectations. Use this information to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge in the UHNW segment.
• Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to advisor‑led platforms. Use data‑driven insights to optimize platform offerings and report on performance to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with platform development, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Implement strategies to protect client data and platform integrity.
• Budget Management: Oversee the budget for platform development, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet strategic goals and enhance the advisor‑client experience.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve platforms for FAs and advisors. Continuously seek feedback and implement improvements.

Experience

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, technology or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum 17+ years of relevant Product Owner experience with 7+ years of people management experience, including senior team members and officers.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in financial services / program management.
• Experience in wealth management, working with FAs/advisors preferred.
• Partnering with various internal groups and stakeholders across different regions.
