Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Delhi seeks a chemical process engineer to manage continuous plant operations, oversee start-ups and shutdowns, and ensure safety and environmental compliance. The role emphasizes maintaining process stability and delivering reliable performance in a busy industrial plant.

The incumbent will review SOPs, P&ID diagrams, conduct HAZOP studies, and work to meet budgeted production targets and yields.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling Chemical plant Continuous process operations.
• Exposure to Plant Pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
• Smooth plant start-up and plant shutdown in case of abnormality.
• Preparing / Reviewing SOPs, P&ID review and HAZOP study.
• Achieve budgeted production targets, yield, norms.
• Ensure safe plant operations and environment compliance.
• Plant team management & development.
• Handle Customer & IMS audits with zero NCs.

Responsibilities

• Manage continuous chemical plant operations with focus on reliability and safety in the Delhi facility.
• Oversee start-up/shutdown activities and respond to abnormal plant conditions to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and review SOPs, P&ID documents, and conduct HAZOP studies to improve process safety.
• Work to meet or exceed production targets and yield norms while controlling costs.
• Lead the plant team, drive skill development, and coordinate with customers and IMS audits to maintain zero non-conformances.
