Soaring Peaks Capital Services Private Limited is seeking a senior technology leader to own the technology vision and build scalable, secure systems powering the business. The Head of Technology will oversee trading platforms, mobile/web apps, backend systems, and security, reporting to the Founder & CEO.

Responsibilities include defining strategy, building a high-performing team, and delivering compliant, high-velocity products with strong ownership and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 12 years of experience in technology, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Head of Technology, VP Engineering, or CTO.
• Experience in the BFSI Retail domain such as broking, wealth management, lending, or fin-tech is preferred.
• Proven track record of building and scaling large-scale, high-availability transactional platforms and mobile/web applications.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
• Good knowledge of stock broking technology, exchange connectivity, and SEBI regulatory technology requirements is an added advantage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, a hands-on approach, and comfort in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and retain high-performing technology teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to work directly with senior leadership.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the firm's business goals and growth plans.
• Make key build-versus-buy decisions, and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and partners.
• Act as a key member of the leadership team, providing technology inputs for business planning and decision-making.
• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of the trading platform, mobile apps, web platform, and backend systems, including OMS, RMS, and back-office integrations.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features through structured Agile and DevOps practices.
• Work closely with Product, Operations, and Business teams to convert business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Own the system architecture to ensure high availability, low latency, and scalability during peak market hours.
• Establish monitoring, incident management, and disaster recovery practices, and drive quick resolution of critical issues.
• Oversee infrastructure, cloud, and exchange connectivity in coordination with the infrastructure team.
• Drive information security practices, including VAPT, data protection, access controls, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with the Compliance team on system audits, regulatory inspections, and technology-related reporting.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps professionals.
• Set up hiring plans, engineering best practices, and a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Define clear goals, performance metrics, and career paths for the technology team.
• Manage technology vendors, partners, and licenses, and negotiate contracts and SLAs.
• Plan and control the technology budget with a focus on cost optimization and return on investment.
• Provide regular updates to the Founder & CEO on project progress, risks, and technology performance.

As part of our growth journey, we are looking to bring on board a senior technology leader who will own our technology vision and build scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that power our business.

Role Overview

The Head of Technology will lead the entire technology function of the firm, including trading platforms, mobile and web applications, backend systems, infrastructure, and security. The role involves defining the technology strategy and roadmap, building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, and delivering reliable, scalable, and compliant products at speed. The candidate will work directly with the Founder & CEO and business leadership, and is expected to bring an entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
