Job summary

Point72 is seeking a Senior Security Operations Lead in Bengaluru to direct a high-impact security program for a global investment platform. You will manage detection, response, and risk-reduction initiatives while building a scalable India-based team

You will collaborate with global security leaders to ensure adherence to firmwide standards and drive timely remediation, with a focus on executive metrics and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security operations or managed detection and response.
• 5+ years leading security teams in India across multiple time zones and shifts.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management and risk reduction.
• Proven ability to leverage Splunk for triage, investigation, dashboards and reports.
• Developed automated workflows in case management systems to shorten triage time.
• Developed skills for training and tuning AI SOC Agents.
• Experience leading security incidents and driving remediation to closure.
• Ability to define, track and communicate executive metrics to senior leadership.
• Strong people leadership: hiring, coaching, performance management and team development.
• Commitment to high ethical standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead Point72’s security operations capability in India, shaping a high-performing team that protects a global investment platform

What's Required

• 10 or more years of experience working in security operations or managed detection and response
• Five or more years of experience leading security teams in India, including responsibility for growing information security talent across multiple time zones and shift-based operating models
• Strong knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and operational risk reduction
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Splunk for security triage and investigate, dashboard development, and report creation.
• Developed and implemented automated workflows in case management systems to decrease triage time.
• Development and implementation of skills for training and tuning of AI SOC Agents.
• Experience leading security incidents, coordinating cross-functional response, and driving remediation through closure
• Ability to define, track, and communicate executive metrics to senior leadership clearly and effectively
• Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
