Job summary

CONXAI is seeking a visionary Head of AI Quality Engineering & Reliability to own the quality and reliability strategy for our agentic AI platform. You will architect QA frameworks, define metrics, and build a team to ensure bulletproof reliability across real‑world, knowledge‑intensive workflows.

You will lead end‑to‑end testing, establish frameworks for AI evaluation, and collaborate with Product, Core Engineering and Customer Success to drive product excellence in a fast‑growing SaaS

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Quality Engineering / Test Automation with leadership experience in SaaS or AI-driven environments.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Cypress (or Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to design robust QA strategies and scalable automated tests for complex AI workflows.
• Strong attention to edge cases in non-linear AI-driven processes and a user-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end QA strategy and architecture for CONXAI’s platform.
• Establish performance governance to audit and validate non-deterministic AI behaviors.
• Oversee verification of integration with fragmented legacy data tools and third‑party silos.
• Drive CI/CD quality gates to enable rapid feature delivery without regression.
• Partner with Product, Core Engineering and Customer Success to translate AI failures into roadmap actions.

What You’ll Do

We’re not just looking for someone to run test scripts; we need a visionary leader to own our entire quality and AI reliability strategy. As the Head of AI Quality Engineering & Reliability, you will architect the frameworks, define the metrics, and eventually build the team that ensures our platform’s reliability is bulletproof.

• QA Strategy & Architecture: Define the overarching vision for end‑to‑end quality assurance at CONXAI and establish modern automated testing strategies (using TypeScript, Cypress, and AI‑evaluation tools) that scale with our platform.
• Performance Governance: Establish frameworks to audit, benchmark, and validate complex, non‑deterministic AI agent behaviors. You will define what "correctness" looks like when AI outputs deviate from traditional static business logic.
• Ecosystem Integration Quality: Oversee the end‑to‑end verification of how our platform integrates with highly fragmented, legacy AEC data tools and third‑party silos.
• CI/CD & Automation Scale: Drive the implementation of intelligent quality gates in our deployment pipelines, allowing for rapid feature deployment without compromising platform stability.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Product, Core Engineering and Customer Success leadership to translate "silent AI failures" into structural improvements and actionable product roadmaps.
• Team Building & Mentorship: Lay the groundwork for a world‑class Quality Engineering team, establishing best practices, mentoring engineers and scaling the function as the company grows.

Who You Are

• 8+ years in Quality Engineering / Test Automation, with at least 2+ years leading QA strategies or teams in a modern SaaS or AI‑driven environment.
• Technical Deeply Rooted: You have deep expertise in TypeScript, Cypress (or Playwright), CI/CD pipelines and highly performant test scripts.
• Attention to Detail: You have a "detective" mindset, capable of finding edge cases in non‑linear, AI‑driven workflows.
• User‑Centric: You don't just test code; you care about the customer experience, business logic, and ensuring that our AI delivers absolute trust to the enterprises relying on it.
